Human Rights Commitment

Sussex Impact Pathway is committed to respecting and promoting human rights in all that we do. We recognise our responsibility to operate in a way that protects people, upholds dignity, and ensures fairness across our operations, supply chains, and the communities we work within.

Respecting human rights is a responsibility we all share. This commitment shapes how each of us works every day.

  • Know the principles: We will familiarise ourselves with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the ILO’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

  • Act responsibly: We will ensure our work supports dignity, fairness, and respect for all people - whether in how we treat colleagues, interact with customers, or work with partners and suppliers.

  • Speak up: If we have concerns about potential human rights issues in our operations or supply chain (such as unsafe working conditions, discrimination, or modern slavery), we will raise these before any decisions are made, using our agreed Impact Assessment Process.

Monitoring and Reporting

Sussex Impact Pathway assess all potential business decisions - projects, suppliers, clients, operation and service developments - for negative impacts in relation to human rights, environmental or Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. We review this impact assessment process annually.
