How do I become a B Corp?
The B Corp certification process has recently changed. Under the new Version 2.1 Standards, certification no longer relies on achieving a minimum score. Instead, every business must meet foundation requirements and take action across all of the core Impact Topics. This makes B Corp certification more consistent and focused on meaningful impact.
Improving Your Impact Over Time
Completing the B Impact Assessment shows your business meets B Lab’s foundation requirements and it gives you a roadmap to keep improving your impact over time. Under the new B Corp certification process (V2.1), there’s no longer a target score to hit. Instead, every business must meet the foundation requirements and take action across all Impact Topics.
Recertification
Under the new B Lab Standards (V2.1), recertification has shifted from repeating the old three-year scoring cycle to a milestone-based improvement journey.
